Awesome for Busting Your Kids! (And checking on your cats :)
Before purchasing this product, I first went to the stores to check it out. The sales people really were clueless, although they did have basic information (which was also listed on the box lol) I read many reviews here on Amazon and other places and this was the unit I chose based on those reviews.I opened the box, read the instructions, plugged the unit directly into the router to obtain WIFI, downloaded the app to my phone, flipped the unit over for the password to operate the camera (which needs to be changed once you log in initially). The only thing that I didn't like was when I unplugged the unit right after obtaining the WIFI for the unit and plugged it into the wall socket across the room was it lost that WIFI information I just downloaded... ugh.... Not to worry. I used an extension cord for the electric plug and then plugged it into the router to obtain WIFI again. When I unplugged it from the extension cord and plugged it back in at the spot where I wanted the camera set up, it retained that WIFI info and it was ready to go. Initially the unit camera head will rotate up and down, side to side; then after that, it's ready for you to use.AND BOY DOES IT WORK LOL I caught my kids doing something that I would have Never known about and busted them (YESSSSSS!!!!)The kid even Knew the camera was there, but forgot and walked right past it in full view of the camera giving me photos and video of what was going on...... LOVE IT!!!!The app takes video and photos of what goes on when it senses motion. I used the 3 second buffer (I think it's called - it video records 3 seconds before the camera senses the movement). The photos and videos are Great! Super clear in night mode and day mode. Set the sensitivity to the lower end of the scale or you'll be receiving 100 pics an hour. I had it up to 80 at first, then lowered it down to 30.And also, I have cats so it picked up their running around even though it wasn't directly pointed at the floor. And I did receive an alarm when the sun came up and went down and the lighting went from day to night and night to day.Another great option is the microphone and speaker located in the unit. I was able to say hello to my cats. When I said hello, one of my cats jumped onto the table on which the camera rests and she sat there wondering why my voice was coming from the camera lol. Using my finger, I was able to touch the screen and pan the camera up and down and side to side to see what was going on, and then I screenshot the two photos you see here. This is really a great camera. Great reviews from others who purchased it and I am happy I trusted those reviews. Good luck with yours!

Did a lot of research to compare IP wireless cameras. I finally decided on the Fujikam FI-361 because I wanted a camera that has good HD quality video, both microphone and speaker for two way audio communications, motorize panning and zoom abilities, no cloud base monthly fees, and of course simple installation. This camera meet all my criteria expectations and did not disappoint. When you receive this unit it has a quick start guide that if followed per instructions you can setup and have this camera working in about 15 minutes. I downloaded the MIPC app to my Samsung Note 4 and had no problem getting it to connect with the Fujikam once it’s setup to my wireless router. Some people have said they had problems with the mic and speaker functions, but mine worked perfectly. It has a good speaker that has good volume range on it. I can speak on my smart phone and you can hear me in the next room. You have 4 video resolution from 160x90 to HD 1280x720, the low resolution is good if you have limited data plans because the kilobyte download is a fraction of using HD 1280x720. The HD 1280x720 quality is very acceptable. The quality of the picture has good definition and lighting is true to source. Night vision is also very acceptable considering that most night vision cameras show the picture in various degrees of grey shades. I like the ability to pan this camera beyond 180 degrees, I didn’t take any measurements of exactly the panning ability but I would estimate it to be about 210 degrees. The up and down panning is also very good. I have my unit mounted on my wall unit and I can pan from floor to ceiling. I found their software menu system easy to understand, but software is always relevant to individual levels. The plus side of having a technical issue is their tech support is very good. Upon calling they picked up the phone in a matter of a few rings and you speak to real people. I hate calling and having to go through robo menu systems, and then finally after they tell you because of the heavy volume of calls it will be 10 to 30 minutes before someone can assist you. The best aspect I like about this camera is it doesn’t use cloud base service with monthly fees to store data. It will store data on a micro SD card (not included), I purchase the 32 gig card which will be adequate for my needs since I won’t be using much of the auto record functions. If you plan to store a lot of data streams then the larger SD cards are better. Some people had difficulty inserting the SD card, but I just used the tip of my finger nail to lock it in place, any small object will assist in pushing the card into the slot all the way. If you don’t purchase a SD card for storage, then you will only be able to see live feeds, and the record function will not be available on the menu. For the money I feel this is the best camera for all the reasons I have mention and worked exactly as I expected.

An IP camera along with my lack of technical know-how would just be inviting trouble, I thought, as I ordered the camera. I wasn't disappointed with my initial disappointment. HOWEVER, armed with a refusal to give up, and the patience of the Fujikam help desk (I called them 4 times in a 24 hour period), I proved that even a technical loser like myself can get the camera set up, exploit it's capabilities, and as a result, be more than satisfied with the outcome. The camera is excellent; any issues would be due to your's truly, along with the (Verizon) network that my camera is running on. But I have adjusted, and discovered things. Mainly, that the higher the resolution, the lesser is the consistency in my network's ability to handle my inputs, such as pan and tilt. And at any given time, this ability seems to fluctuate, from no problem at all, to head scratching and thumb twiddling. So what I do, if I sense the network is log-jammed, would be to choose the lowest resolution to pan the camera, then select the HD resolution to view the details. That works every time for me. Also, the camera is very sensitive. Last night, I had it pointing outside, and the excellent night vision picked up every flying insectoid-type critter (which may account for the 329 motion-detected message alerts found this morning). Will decrease the sensitivity and see what happens.

To conclude, to my undiscerning eye and non-techie self, I had difficulty appreciating the distinction between the cams on the market prior to purchase (other than the price). But as one who needed all the help that he can get, I think I made the right choice, as the Fujikam help desk made all the difference. I actually enjoyed calling into the call center, and bugging them.

8-23-14 update: I ordered and received an antenna expander, which is similar in appearance to the standard antenna, but is 15 inches long, and is advertised to increase the range of the camera. It is actually sold as a Foscam antenna (Foscam Wireless Range 9dbi Antenna Expander), but the fitting is the standard SMA, as seen on my Fujikam. The purpose in acquiring this, was to be able to move my camera from the back of the house where my computer is located, to the front. Up until now, I was receiving a "device offline" status. But now, with this inexpensive addition (which screws into the back of the Fujikam, replacing the original), I can receive a picture on normal setting, and pan and tilt at will, when I switch to the "small" setting. I might be able to obtain a signal for HD display, but I have not experimented yet with the position of the antenna, and the normal setting is good enough for now. The price I paid was $6.99, delivered.

6-29-15 update: Just a suggestion in it's usage. I had a critter that was removing the vent screen that leads to underneath my house. I considered the usual suspects (rat, possum, raccoon), and suspect the raccoon as the perp. Positioning this cam towards the entrance, it has captured the guilty party - the raccoon. So my recommendation for this cam, in addition to the security aspect, is that it might help in identifying pests on your property, as pests are creatures of habit. By noting the route that they take and the time frame, further steps can be taken to secure your vents, heirloom tomatoes, etc.

8-17-15 update: Changed last week from Verizon DSL to Time Warner cable because of the weak digital signal being received at my location from Verizon (due to the distance between the phone company's central office and my location). In opting for just the minimal MBPS option from Time Warner, I am seeing unprecedented response from my Fujikam in terms of speed and strength. Where before, I could never select the HD setting AND be able to pan and tilt at the same time, I am now with Time Warner at the minimal 3 MBPS option from them, able to use the Fujikam to it's fullest extent, which is very quick response, HD setting, and pan and tilt at will. My emphasis with this remark is that the performance of your Fujikam has altogether a lot to do with your internet provider.
    ---
3-6-17 The camera is still ticking. It went through many relocations, a new computer, change in internet providers, but still seems to be working and supported by Vimtag (no longer Fujikam). The periodic change in the appearance of the MIPC screens on my android phone tells me that updates are being generated. The good thing, is that I have not had a need to use it in any court-related issue. Although it is an inside camera, I have been using it outdoors. Must keep it protected from rain and the sun (the sun causes the rubbery parts to get sticky). Otherwise, no need to purchase anything new. This odd-looking camera still pans, tilts, records, and plays back, and that's all I need at this time.8-5-17 Wanted to note that the app has completely evolved for the better. Much more user friendly, with an appearance as if designed by a California tech start up, and not something translated from another language. This bowling pin of a security camera is still all I need, Pretty amazing.10-3-17 Reached out to Vimtag through email, because my device was recording pictures but not video. They questioned if I had a memory card in my device. I swapped out the old card, restarted the camera, and its now recording video.

12-2-17. Big update. I purchased a remote infrared illuminator from Amazon for $18, that is purported to greatly enhance the night vision capability of my Vimtag. The only problem, is, that my Vimtag is hanging upside down attached to my window with a GoPro suction mount - INSIDE my window pointing out. When the IR turns on at night on my Vimtag, it reflects back from the window into the device's lens, causing a wash out. The solution? Bathroom caulking squeezed carefully onto each of the IR bulbs of my Vimtag! I tried electrical tape first (it lifts off), then duct tape (it leaves a gummy mess). Caulking, brown caulking specifically, remains flexible, and I can peel the whole thing off, if need be. I have the world's ugliest security camera, with that brown pile, but now I can use the Vimtag as an outside security camera, but positioned in the safety of my house. I have the Vimtag on one end of the window, and the IR illuminator on the other end. The illuminator shines all the way across the street to my neighbors!

5.0 out of 5 stars ... for Home and Business monitoring and undoubtedly Fujikam is best security Cam i ever had
Reviewed in India on August 21, 2015
I own several IP cameras which i use for Home and Business monitoring and undoubtedly Fujikam is best security Cam i ever had.

    • Remote live video streaming is much clear and faster, can’t be compare with other cams in category.
    • Remote Pan and Tilt is delayed a second but its obvious if you are using it remotely.
    • I have 16 GB SD card and its holding almost a week of recording with motion alert and still have lot of free memory, • With all my IP cams i struggled to get setup properly but Fujikam is real plug and play cam takes only 2 min to setup.
    • 2 Way Voice is very clear.

The setup instructions are good and I had no problems during setup and installation. I had it working within 15 minutes after taking it out of the box. There are no extra fees for cloud service and everything resides on a mini 32 GB SD card which must be purchased separately. It works very well and it is remarkably easy to set up. The pictures are excellent, the remote rotation (side-to-side and up-and-down) works and the sound quality is good. The camera comes with a mounting kit so that you can put it up wherever you need it. It is a really nice camera for a very reasonable price and I am going to buy some more of them

Customer services is really good, i called them to check with couple of questions i had and they responded very well.

Very Great product. Very easy to install and configuring it. I chosen this product because no need of DVR,Screen ..etc and it is plug and play device.
you can access and/or control motion any where in the world. two way communication is also good. even I can share video live steem to guest by giving only guest access. The support team from fujikam is very good.

1.0 out of 5 stars beware only works with their crappy mobile app only (rated 3.1 star on google play store).

I bought it because it was rated number 1 on amazon.com even though it costly compared to others. But this is a trap. Maybe in US it was cheap compared to others when it was launched a few years back. Material is abs platic and looks cheap. But on amazon.in we can buy chinese camera like SRICAM or chinese dahua or with indian branding like CP-PLUS for one-third price.

it doesn't work with any NVR. doesn't support most popular video surveillance software for pc blueiris which is supported by virtually most of the major camera makers(including both rtsp/mjpeg cameras). In fact ispy opensource software is not supported. It is because they don't support openstandards like onvif (which is now supported by cheap chinese cameras costing as low as Rs.3500).
i have both costly as well as cheap cameras which i display on my large screen. one camera was damaged so i wanted to replace that with this one. unfortunately, the seller doesn't want to take it back only sends replacement. i have other cameras displayed on my large screen so that option doesn't work here.. can't record using an opensource NVR.

On USA amazon.com (https://www.amazon.com/VT-361-Monitoring-Surveillance-Security-Two-Way/dp/B00JAJ9U8K/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1496519333&sr=1-1&keywords=vimtag) it costs $86 around Rs. 5800. In short money goes to drain.

I would suggest to go for more reputed brands like FOSCAM FI9831P or FI9821P (http://www.amazon.in/Foscam-FI9821P-H-264-Wireless-Camera/dp/B00H3Q8QB4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1496517450&sr=8-2&keywords=foscam) or dlink ptz 5222l or 5020l. AMCREST is also available on amazon.in but a bit costly.

Good product but creates problems when there is a power cut. The wifi connectivity is lost and it is required to reconnect again which is a little cumbersome. The night vision is also not upto the mark.
