The historic version of the city that you do first is a masterfully designed puzzle that is a real joy to put together. Water isnt just blue-- it has gradations and boats added in just the right places. In this one, north banks of the river are drawn differently than the south banks. Different drawing styles are used on similar geographic features so you can tell the difference. There are subtle hints everywhere in the image that make the puzzle an absolute joy to work on. So much different than puzzles that are just an image that at was cut into pieces!!!
The only problem is that it will be hard to go back to the other kind of puzzle when we've done all of these.
Not paid by anyone to write this. Did not get this puzzle for free. Just a puzzle nerd.
Only negative is that the identification numbers on the little plastic buildings are way too tiny to positively make out, and sometimes the pieces don't quite look like their diagrams on the time line chart.
